Hallo, und willkommen auf meiner Webseite!

Ich bin Flötistin, Whistle-, Dudelsack-Spielerin und Sängerin, und lebe derzeit im unterfränkischen Würzburg. Musik begleitet mich schon immer – als Kind habe ich gerne gesungen und mit 16 erste Bühnenerfahrungen als Flötistin/Tin Whistle-Spielerin einer Folk-Rock-Band gesammelt. Während des Studiums verbrachte ich einige Zeit in Irland, und habe dort irische und schottische Folk-Musik sowie traditionelle Spieltechniken kennengelernt. Dort entdeckte ich auch meine Liebe zur Low Whistle. Später kamen dann noch die Uilleann Pipes dazu. Mittlerweile blicke ich auf langjährige Erfahrung als Live-/Studiomusikerin und Sängerin zurück, mit Schwerpunkten im Bereich der keltischen Musik und des atmosphärischen Folk-Metal. 2019 gründete ich die Band Ephemeral, für die ich unter anderem auch als Komponistin tätig bin. Außerdem bin ich mit Saor auf Tour und gebe Unterricht und Workshops für Tin und Low Whistles.

Hello, and welcome to my website!

I am a flutist, whistle player, bagpiper and vocalist currently based in Würzburg, Germany. Music has accompanied me since my childhood – I always enjoyed singing and with 16 I joined my first band as a flutist/tin whistle player and (backing) vocalist. During my studies I spent some time in Ireland, where I acquired a great repertoire of Irish and Scottish tunes and traditional playing techniques. I also discovered the beauty of the low whistle during that time. Back in Germany I fell in love with the uilleann pipes and started to learn them. I have been part of different folk, rock and metal bands, and also playing guest and solo performances with orchestras and music theatre ensembles. In 2019 I founded the band Ephemeral in which I play my own compositions. I am also touring with Saor and teaching/offering workshops for tin and low whistle.
